Every summer, our emergency board fills with failures that were visible months earlier: capacitors reading weak in May that died in July, condensate drains one clog from a shutdown, condenser coils so packed with cottonwood the compressor was running a marathon to produce a jog's worth of cooling. A tune-up is where those get caught instead.

Ours is a working visit, not checklist theater. We clean the condenser coil, flush the drain, test capacitor and contactor values, measure refrigerant pressures and temperature split, take amp draws on the motors, tighten electrical connections, and inspect the blower and filter path. Numbers get recorded so next year's visit can see what is drifting.

You get a plain-language report of what we found, what we cleaned, and what — if anything — deserves attention. A healthy system gets told it is healthy. Manufactured urgency is for other companies.
