Heating services · Fox Valley & western suburbs
When northern Illinois drops below zero, your furnace is life support for the house. We repair, replace, and maintain heating systems like that is true — because it is.

No heat, short cycling, cold air, strange smells — diagnosed to the actual fault, with a safety inspection built into every visit.

The fall tune-up that finds January’s failures in October — flame sensor, igniter, exchanger, combustion, all measured.
Tune-up details →Found on real service calls
The photo next to this text is a real find from a local service call: a rodent nest packed into an outdoor disconnect — mouse included — quietly corroding connections and waiting to take the system down. On another call, the “mystery” intermittent failure turned out to be thermostat wire chewed bare.
Neither problem shows up on a thermostat, and neither gets caught by a tech who only swaps the obvious part. This is why our repair visits include a real look at the equipment and its wiring, and why our maintenance visits check for exactly this kind of quiet damage before it becomes a February emergency.

“Jojo and his team did an after-hours service call in a lightning fast manner. They were professional and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them to all the people I know.”
“The Apex Climate Control technicians are simply the BEST!”
Good to know
Four quick things: thermostat set to Heat and above room temperature, filter not collapsed with dirt, the furnace power switch (it looks like a light switch, usually nearby) turned on, and the breaker not tripped. If all four pass, call 630-486-0401 — no-heat calls get priority in freezing weather.
Annually, ideally in early fall. Northern Illinois furnaces run near-continuously for four-plus months, and the parts that cause January breakdowns — flame sensors, igniters, pressure switches — show measurable decline long before they fail. The tune-up also includes the heat exchanger safety inspection every gas furnace deserves.
Yes — it can allow combustion gases, including carbon monoxide, into your home's air. It is the one diagnosis where we will not recommend limping along, and on most older furnaces the repair cost approaches replacement anyway.
It depends on capacity, efficiency tier, and what the venting and ductwork need — so we quote in person, in writing, at multiple price points. Current specials take $175 off a single unit or $350 off a full furnace-and-AC system, with financing from a 550 credit score.
