Most air conditioners do not fail from bad equipment — they fail early from bad installation. That is the part we obsess over on every Hoffman Estates install.
We are a North Aurora company, about 44 minutes from our North Aurora shop, and we have replaced systems all over Hoffman Estates — waves of 1960s–1990s construction across dozens of subdivisions — familiar builder-grade systems at predictable ages, block after block.
You get options at more than one price point, a written quote with no asterisks, and a straight recommendation on which one actually fits your house and your plans for it.

We recommend getting replacement numbers when you see this pattern:
Here is how an Apex install day goes:
We evaluate size, ductwork, electrical, and the pad location before quoting, so the quote is for a system that will actually perform in your home. We hold that line on every job in Cook County.
You get real model numbers at multiple price points with efficiency ratings and totals spelled out — and if financing helps, those terms go on paper too. No verbal ballparks that grow later. It is the same standard we bring to every Hoffman Estates visit.
We haul the old unit out, set the new condenser dead level, pressure-test and evacuate the line set the way the manufacturer requires, weigh the refrigerant charge in, and leave the electrical and drain work clean enough to photograph. Floors stay covered the entire day.
The job is not done until the instruments say so: airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant readings all verified, warranty registered in your name, and a walkthrough of the thermostat and filter so you know your own system.
What a new AC actually costs in Hoffman Estates — honestly:
Financing changes what is realistic: through Enhancify, approvals start at a 550 credit score with promotional terms including 0% options for qualified buyers, so a dead AC in a heat wave does not force the worst-value decision. Apply before we visit if you want the numbers ready — the link is on our financing page. Cook County homeowners have seen enough games; we just do not play them.
A lot of Hoffman Estates air conditioners went in during the same construction wave, which means a lot of them are aging out together. If yours is one of them, replacing on your schedule beats replacing during the first 95-degree emergency of the year.
What to avoid when buying a new AC:
Real customers, real Google reviews
“I got quotes from four different companies and ended up going with Apex. I really liked how quickly they communicated and that they were able to start the work the same day — Jojo explained what I needed, gave me different options, and was fully transparent with the pricing.”
“The Apex Climate Control technicians are simply the BEST!”

We offer financing through Enhancify with approvals for credit scores as low as 550 and 0% options for qualified customers. You can apply online before we even visit.
It depends on the size of the home, the efficiency tier you choose, and the condition of the existing ductwork and electrical, which is why we quote in person. We give you options at multiple price points in writing, and current specials take $175 off a single-unit install or $350 off a full system.
If the furnace is also past the 12–15 year mark, usually yes — the indoor coil sits on the furnace, the blower drives the AC's airflow, and doing both at once saves duplicate labor. That is also where the $350 full-system special applies. If the furnace is young and healthy, we will say so.
We install proven equipment we can stand behind — Goodman is a staple on our trucks for its parts availability and warranty — and we service every major brand afterward regardless of who installed it. Call 630-486-0401 and we will take it from there.
Most straight replacements wrap in a single day. When ductwork changes, electrical upgrades, or a paired furnace enter the picture, the timeline stretches — and we tell you that at the quote, not on install morning.
Both handled. The old condenser, coil, and refrigerant leave with us and get disposed of the right way — your curb stays empty.
Moving from an aging 8–10 SEER system to modern equipment typically cuts cooling costs meaningfully, but the install quality — charge, airflow, duct sealing — determines whether you actually get the rated efficiency. That is why we commission with instruments. That has held true on every Hoffman Estates job we have run.
One call reaches our local team — no national call center, no runaround. Serving Hoffman Estates and all of Cook County.
